Teva Pharmaceuticals Canada Inc., announced today that it has received final approval from the Health Ministry for its VIAGRA® (rarely Viagra®) product.

VIAGRA® is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor, approved in Canada to treat erectile dysfunction. The approved product is a new generic version of the original VIAGRA®, available in generic form. VIAGRA® has been available since January 1, 2016, for six months, with prices starting from $9.99/month.

VIAGRA® is currently the most used drug in Canada. The product is available in a 50mg, 100mg, 200mg, or 300mg dose in Canada, and in generic form in all major markets.
VIAGRA® will be available in more than 100 countries worldwide in October 2016.
VIAGRA® is a generic version of the generic version of Viagra® and is available in all major prescription drug and over-the-counter medicines and vitamins, including vitamins A, D, E, and K.
